Amalgamated Fire Alarm Company Limited was incorporated on the 4th May 1970 to promote our interests in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and regular servicing of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.

The cumbersome and dated title was shortened to Amalgamated Ltd in 1993 to reflect a crisper presentation and the need in the market for a wider portfolio of disciplines that was indicated by our former restrictive title.  We offer the additional benefits of Emergency Lighting, Portable Fire Extinguishers and Fixed Fire Suppression Systems.

Amalgamated has proved itself through its trading history to be one of the foremost independent Fire Alarm companies in the United Kingdom.  We continue to enjoy a history and reputation based on integrity and the solid foundation of quality installations, servicing and maintenance.

We are committed to the protection of life and property through system integrity.  Our extensive range of sophisticated and reliable equipment ensures that we maintain a position at the leading edge of technology and enables us to provide advanced systems to satisfy legislative and insurance requirements whilst adhering to the appropriate Standards.

The Service Department handles the contracted regular service work, including the repair, replacement and upgrading works arising there from, and forms the "backbone" to our business.
